Infrared saunas have so many health benefits, including prevention and healing from disease, detoxing heavy metals and chemicals, pain relief, anti-aging, etc. If you’re having trouble losing weight, have a lack of energy, are sick, or suffering from a chronic disease or condition, toxin accumulation is contributing to the problem.

Any amount of mercury for example is toxic. This metal can lead to muscular spasms and even death. Sweat can help remove this toxin from the body.

While most sweat is comprised of water and little salt, studies show that 15-20% of infrared sauna-induced sweat is composed of cholesterol, fat-soluble toxins, heavy metals, sulfuric acid, and ammonia (as well as sodium and uric acid.) In other words, an infrared sauna may enable your body to eliminate environmental toxins through sweat.

We have been recommending sauna therapy for detoxification to many of our patients who have high levels of various chemicals found in their GPL-TOX, Glyphosate, or Metals test results. The fundamental principle that governs detoxification is that heat liberates toxins from fats, which then gets flushed out by the sweat and carried off by the blood to the liver, kidney, and GI tract.
